 Billy Wayne Kendrick, 75, of Wilburton, OK, passed away Sunday, December 7th, at , Haileyville, Pittsburg County.

Billy was born in Haywood, Oklahoma on February 20, 1939, a son of the late Vida (Scott) and Dean  Kendrick.

He worked as a rancher.


He was the husband of Margaret  (Phillips) Kendrick. On May 4, 1960, they were married at Poteau, Oklahoma.

Billy is  survived by
four daughters, Sandra, wife of  Derick Brown, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma;
Judy, wife of  Stuart Winlock, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Terri, wife of  Jimmy Durant, of Fanshaw, Oklahoma;
Sallie Tomlinson, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
a son,Billy Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
 

Billy is also survived by
two brothers, Glen, husband of  Glenda Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Raymond, husband of  Flo Kendrick, of Silverdale, Washington.
 

Preceded in death by his parents, Dean & Vida Kendrick, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, granddaughter Mary Nation, Grandson, Jeremy Braman, and Gene Nation, Robert Nation.

He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren

Services at Bowers Baptist Church, Wilburton, OK, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10th,  with Rev. Randy Waldrop officiating.

Interment at Gowen Cemetery Gowen, OK.

 Ira Jean Evans, 91, of Wilburton, OK, passed away Monday, December 1st, at Select Speciality Hospital, Ft. Smith,  County, AR.

Ira was born in Coalgate, Oklahoma on November 29, 1923, a daughter of the late Vera (Locke) Pebworth
 and Preston  Pebworth.

She was a  homemaker.

Ira is  survived by
two daughters, Betty Armstrong, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Patty, wife of  James Brown, of Tyler, Texas;
a son,David Burleson, of Oregon;
 

Ira is also survived by
two sisters, June Greenwood, of Ada, Oklahoma; Opal Dean Pebworth, of Florida.
 

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, 6 sisters.

She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.

 Melvin Ellis Holly, 73, of Ayer, MA, passed away Saturday, November 22nd, at Leominster Health Alliance Hospital, ,  County, OK.

Melvin was born in Panola, Oklahoma on May 14, 1941, a son of the late Vanita Roberta (O'Donnell) and James Donald Holly.

He worked as a law officer.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Oak, Ok

Melvin is  survived by
three daughters, Wallena L. Dominic, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Susie Holly-Bull, of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Kristy, wife of  Jessie Vasquez, of Wagoner, Oklahoma;
two sons Dennis A.  Holly, of Stringtown, Oklahoma; James, husband of  Robin Holly, of Stillwater, Oklahoma;
 

Melvin is also survived by
a brother, Jim, husband of  Patricia Holly, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
 

Preceded in death by his parents J.D. & Vinita Holly, Son Ellis Lynn Holly, and Elaine Holly.

He is also survived by Grandchildren:  J.J. & Cody Bull of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Emilee Thorne, of Wagoner, Oklahoma; Ethan Thorne, U.S. Army, Conner Holly, of Stillwater.  Great Grandson:  Jaxson Thorne, of Wagoner, Oklahoma.

Edith was born in Levelland, Texas on March 12, 1942, a daughter of the late Alta M. (Grimsley) and Eugene B. Richardson.

She worked as a nurse.

She attended Wilburton Church Of Christ Wilburton, OK 74578.

She was the widow of Mixon Andrew Jackson. On December 30, 1996, they were married at South Rock Creek Church, Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Edith is  survived by
a daughter, Gena, husband of  Roy Herren, of Red Oak, Oklahoma;
two sons Shannon, husband of  Julia Green, of Martens, Texas; Greg, husband of  Lori Green, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma;
 

Edith is also survived by
two brothers, C E, husband of  Linda Richardson, of McCloud, Oklahoma; Jimmy, husband of  Jo Ann Richardson, of Wellton, Arizonia.
 

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrew, 2 grandchildren, Morgan Foster, Caleb Green.

She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren

 Francis D. Johnson, 84, of Hartshorne, OK, passed away Sunday, August 3rd, at Beare Manor. 

Francis was born in Lodi, Oklahoma on April 11, 1930, a son of the late Hazel (Free) and Roy  Johnson.

He worked as a truck driver.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

 Curtiss Mal Naylor, 59, of Eastpoint, FL, passed away Monday, August 4th, at Big Bend Hospice House, Tallahassee,  County. 

Curtiss was born in Summerfield, Oklahoma on December 22, 1954, a son of the late Hazel (Cogburn) and Vester  Naylor.

He was employed as a commercial fisherman.

Curtiss is  survived by 
a daughter, Malisa, wife of  Justin Wong, of Poteau, Oklahoma; 
a son,Brian  Naylor, of Cherrypoint, North Carolina; 
 

Curtiss is also survived by 
two sisters, Donna, wife of  John Lindgren, of Bonanza, Arkansas; Becky Naylor, of Eastpoint, Florida. 
three brothers, Joe Paul Cooper, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Mike, husband of  Beth Cooper, of Great Falls, Montana; Timmy, husband of  Angel Naylor, of Cameron, Oklahoma;

She was the wife of Hubert  Pearson. On July 7, 2006, they were married at Jasper, Texas.

She worked as a secretary  at Latimer County Juvenile Services Retired. 

She was a member of First Baptist Church Wilburton, OK 74578. 

She was the wife of Vernon  Underwood. On May 15, 1953, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Carolyn is  survived by 
a daughter, Marie, wife of  Benny Davis, of McAlester, Oklahoma. 
a son,Mark Underwood, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; 
 

Carolyn is also survived by 


Preceded in death by her mother and father; cousin, Alice Jayne Rogrs; aunt, Kathryn Avery.

He worked in the oil field.

He served in the U.S. Army.
