Delouris Green, age 84, of Wister, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Beare Manor NH, Hartshorne, Oklahoma. 

Delouris was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on March 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Mary  E. (Lovejoy) and Claud E. Bales.

Delouris was a homemaker.  She was a member of The Church of God 7th Day, Wister, Oklahoma. 

She was the widow of James  Green. On November 9, 1948, they were married at Talihina, Oklahoma. 

Delouris is also survived: 
Sisters:  Loretta Judd, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Wennon Price, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Carolyn Getz, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Alma Lee Hollan, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. 
A host of several nieces & nephews.  A host of great nieces & nephews. A host of great great nieces & nephews.

Delouris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; 2 brothers, Lance Bales and Almont Bales; sister, Vidella Woodruff.

Service at Bengal Community Building, Bengal, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 with Rev. Chip Hinds and Rev. Lamar Ford officiating.  Interment to follow at the Peachland Cemetery, Bengal, Oklahoma.

Verna Lee Barnard, age 72, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at her residence. 

Verna was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on February 8, 1944, a daughter of Bydia Lee (Coley) Pope and the late Leslie Pope.

Verna was a  homemaker.  She was a member of the South Rock Creek Indian Baptist Church. 

Verna is survived by:
Mother:  Bydia Lee Coley, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
Son:  Brian Barnard, of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Daughters/Son-In-Law:  Linda & Johnny Sivic, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; Wanda James, of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Brother:  Deroy Pope, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Verna was preceded in death by her father; son, Harvey Ray James; great grandchild, Baby Bonapart; granddaughter, Lacota James.

Service at Cedar Indian Baptist Church, Red Oak, Oklahoma, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017  with Rev. Don Ludlo officiating.  Interment to follow at the Cedar Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Horace C. Smallwood, age 87, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital,  of Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Horace was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on January 8, 1929, a son of the late Ruth (Cole) and Leslie F. Smallwood.

He worked as a rancher.  

Horace was a member of First Baptist Church, of  Red Oak, Oklahoma where he was a faithful  Sunday School teacher. 

Horace is  survived by:
Son: Wayne Smallwood, of the home.
Daughter:  Valerie Smallwood, of the home.
Sister/Brother-In-Law:  Virginia & Kenneth Love, of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

He is also survived by  several great nieces and nephews.

Shirley Ruth Vester, age 82, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at her residence in Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Shirley was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 18, 1934, a daughter of the late Jennie (Litson) and Chester  McCammon.

Shirley was a wonderful and dedicated  homemaker.

Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma.  Shirley played the piano faithfully for many years at FBC of Wilburton.   

She was the wife of J. C. Vester. On March 9, 1955, they were married at Shawnee, Oklahoma. 

Shirley is  survived by:
Husband: J. C. Vester, of the home.
Daughter:  Cathye Vester, of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Daughter-In-Law:  Kathy Vester, of McAlester, Oklahoma.
Sister/Brother-In-Law:  Connie & Kenneth Zorger, of Norman, Oklahoma. 
She is also survived by  Grandson: Justin, husband of Natia Vester, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Rosy was born in Wickes, Arkansas on November 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Oliner (Selvidge) and Fred  Richardson.

Rosy was a  homemaker.  She was a member of the Honor Heights Assembly of God Church, of  Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Darin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 22, 1967.

He worked as a Reserve Deputy for the Latimer County Sheriff.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Danny Roy Cooley, age 60, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016   at the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Danny was born in Visalia, California on December 3, 1956, a son of the late Catherine O. Gillespie and Jimmy Roy Cooley.

Danny worked as a truck driver.

He was the husband of Judy  (Brinkley) Cooley. On October 7, 1977, they were married in Texas. 

Danny is  survived by:

Leon Judd, age 84, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his residence in Red Oak, Oklahoma

Leon was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on June 15, 1932, a son of the late Wanda (Addis) and Orvil Lee Judd.

He was the husband of Loretta  (Bales) Judd. On March 17, 1955, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma.  He worked in the oil field as a manager.  Leon was an ordained minister.  He attended the Solnia Free Will Baptist Church.   

He served in the U.S. Army. 

Leon is  survived by:
Wife:  Loretta Judd, of the home. 
Daughter/Son-In-Law:  Debbie Judd' Sims, wife of  Rick, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Charlie Leroy Prock

In Memory of  Charlie Leroy Prock

Charlie Leroy Prock, age 79, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital, of Ada Oklahoma. 

Charlie was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on May 19, 1937, a son of the late Ruby (Booth) and John  Prock.  He  graduated Red Oak High School in 1955 and enlisted in the Army in the fall.  He served for three years with a major portion if his service being in Germany.

He married the love of his life, Loretta Clark, May 26, 1960 in Red Oak, Oklahoma.  They resided in Oklahoma City and Ardmore until they moved to Ada in 1974.  He opened an electrical supply store in Ada and continued in electrical supply business until his retirement.

He was a member of the Kiwanis Club where he served as an officer and was named Kiwanian of The Year in 1980.  He retired early due to health issues, but continued to follow the activities of the community.

He enjoyed sharing stories about family and especially after becoming a grandfather.  Two words that were music to his ears were "Daddy" and "Grandpa".

Charlie is  survived by:
Wife:  Loretta Prock, of the home. 
One Daughter, Debra, of Atlanta, Georgia. 
Two Sisters/Brothers-In-Law:  Mildred & Lynn Rice, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Linda &  John Medlock, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Three Brothers/Sisters-In-Law:  James & Vergie Prock, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Cecil Prock, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Kenneth &  Donna Prock, of McAlester, Oklahoma. 
He is also survived by Grandson:  Jacob, of Atlanta, Georgia.  
Along with numerous nieces and nephews. He considered his wife's family as his own and was considered to be a big brother by the same family.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, John & Ruby Prock; one brother, Lonnie Prock.

Service at First Assembly of God Church, Red Oak, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016  with Rev. Randy Holmes and Rev. Willard Francis officiating.  Interment to follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Billy Jo Crouch, age 85, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Tidwell Living Center of Wilburton, Oklahoma 

Billy was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on April 5, 1931, a son of the late Viola (Glenn) and Roy  Crouch.

He worked in the construction field.  Billy served in the U.S. Army.

He was the widower of Cynthia  Crouch.

Billy is  survived by:
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:  Amanda & Chad Littlejohn, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Krystal Gresham, of Shafter, California; Tysee Crouch, of McAlester, Oklahoma.

He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, some great grandchildren.
