Gary Lynn Sparks, age 64, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home in Wilburton.

Gary was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on July 22, 1952, a son of the late Henryetta (Bambeck) and Bill  Sparks.  Gary graduated from Wilburton High School in 1970.  He owned and operated several businesses in the community, including Sparks Phillips 66, The Picture Show and Gary's Place.  He retired from Wilburton Fire Department in 2001 after many years of service.  Gary was also a member of the Wilburton Masonic Lodge #141.

Gary is  survived by: 
Son:  Jake Sparks, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:   Leslie & Michael Patten, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Kayce & Bobby Shank, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Whitney Sparks, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Sister/Brother-In-Law:   Mary Faye & Cal McCullough, of Red Oak, Oklahoma. 
Gary is also survived by Grandchildren:  Shay Stacey, Rylee Stacey, Broden Stacey, and Seth Patten of Red Oak, Oklahoma and Austin & Kale Shank of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Henryetta Sparks; brothers, Billy Charles, Drew & Jimmy Ray Sparks; son, Timothy Don Sparks; daughter, Leigh Sparks.  And Karen Rae Robbins.

Memorial Service at First Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017  with Dr. Paul Brady,  Rev. Randy Waldrop, and Mr. David Donoley officiating.

Nora Pearl Edmonds, age 93, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Ranch Terrace Nursing Home, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. 

Pearl was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on January 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Fannie L. (Tedder)  and Joseph S. White.

Pearl was a  homemaker.  She was a member of  the First Baptist Church of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Pearl is survived by:
Sons/Daughter-In-Law:  Gene E. & Joann Smith, of Coweta, Oklahoma; Bill C. Smith, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Richard B. Smith, of Midland, Texas.
Daughters/Sons-In-Law:   Ann & Jim Parker, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Margaret L. & Forrest McLemore, of Fairview, Texas.
Sisters:  Lois Johnson, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Maxine Bickerstaff, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, 2 half brothers, 4 sisters, 2 half sisters.

Mary Dell Morgan, age 78, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital, Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Mary was born in Jasper, Georgia on October 31, 1938, a daughter of the late Della (Long) and James  Compton.

Mary was a homemaker.  She was a member of North Rock Creek Baptist Church, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

She was the wife of Cecil Warren Morgan. On September 28, 1957, Mary and Cecil were married at Jasper, Georgia. 

Mary is  survived by
Husband: Cecil Morgan, of the home. 
Daughter:   Tresa Jo Morgan, of Bixby, Oklahoma. 
Sons/Daughter-In-Law:  Clifton D. Morgan, of Allen, Oklahoma; Carlton Lee Morgan, of Allen, Oklahoma; Clay & Kelitha Morgan, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Bill  Booth, Jr., 66, of Red Oak, OK, passed away Monday, June 5th, at his residence. . 

Bill was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on March 25, 1951, a son of the late Donna (Danel) and William (Bill) O. Booth, Sr.

Bill worked in the oil field.  He was a member of Church of Christ, of  Red Oak, Oklahoma. 

He was the husband of De'Anne  (Noah) Booth. On April 11, 1969, they were married at Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Quinton was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 29, 1989, a son of Sherry Lynn (Scott) and Vincent Ray Picone, of McAlester.
He was employed as an Administrative Assistant at the Army Ammunition Plant, of McAlester, Oklahoma.
Quinton was of the Baptist faith.  He served in the U.S. Army.

Father and Mother: Vincent & Sherry Picone, of McAlester, Oklahoma.
Sisters: Judy Kay Picone, of Durant, Oklahoma; Alexandra Lenora Picone, of McAlester, Oklahoma; Alisha Marie Picone, of Beaufort, South Carolina.

She worked as a  cook at Wilburton High School.

She was the wife of Joe Bill Aaron. On August 16, 1976, they were married at Poteau, Oklahoma.

Ruby was a  homemaker.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was the widow of Eugene Orville Wilcox. On October 1944, they were married at Leesville, LA.
