Faola Hilburn, age 93, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Faola was born in Bokoshe, Oklahoma on May 3, 1925, a daughter of the late Lotta (Thomas) and Ted  West.

Faola was an awesome homemaker.  Sister, Momma, Gaga, Granny, Ahay, just a few names that different grand kids and family came up with through the years.   She loved to cook and make everyone feel welcome, and always did.

She was a member of Church of Christ, Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Faola was the widow of T. C. Hilburn. On January 12, 1942, they were married at Red Oak, Oklahoma

Faola is  survived by:
Daughter/Son-In-Law:   Phyllis & Larry Mabry, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Son/Daughter-In-Law:  West & Kaye Hilburn, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Daughter-In-Law:  Wilma Hilburn, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Sisters:   Juanita Noah, of Red Oak, Oklahoma; Joyce Brownlie, of Edmond, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Faola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, T. C. Hilburn; son, Chris (Sonny) Hilburn;  sister, Loyce Bell; great grandson, Jamin Noah and great great grandson, Montana Andrew Knight.

Service at Church of Christ, Red Oak, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018  with Mr. Curtis Curry officiating.   Interment to follow at the North Rock Creek Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma

Jahue Dodd, age 80, of Panola, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his residence.

Jahue was born in Summerfield, Oklahoma on March 4, 1938, a son of the late Edith Pearl (Harris) and William Royal Dodd.

He worked as a school teacher.  He was a member of Panola Baptist Church of Panola, Oklahoma.

He was the husband of Wanell  (Kinsworthy) Dodd. On June 16, 1962, they were married at Summerfield, Oklahoma.

Jahue is  survived by:
Wife: Wanell Dodd, of the home.
Son:  Bryan Dodd, of Panola, Oklahoma.
Sisters:   Betty Stone, of Poteau, Oklahoma; Naomi Young, of Irving, Texas.
Brother:  James Dodd, of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Daughter-In-Law:  Janie Dodd, of McAlester, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren: Caleb Dodd, Kyle Dodd, Saraya Dodd, Taylor Dodd, Reese Dodd. 1 Great Grandchild: Skylynne Dodd.
 
Jahue was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roy Dodd; 2 sisters, Willa Dean Husstutler and Lou Ann Welch; 1 brother, Donald Dodd.

Service at Panola Baptist Church, Panola, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018  with Rev. Tony Randol officiating.  Interment to follow at the Baldwin Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma.

James William Clark

In Memory Of James William Clark

James William Clark, age 73, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Corner Stone Hospital, Muskogee, Oklahoma.

James was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on December 22, 1944, a son of the late Helen (Johnson) and Johnny  Clark.

James was a truck driver.  He served in the U.S. Army.

James is  survived by:
Sons/Daughter-In-Law:   Kevin & Melissa Clark, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; James Clark, Jr., of Oklahoma.
Brother/Sister-In-Law:  Ronnie & Clara Clark, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.  
Special Friends:  Gary Williams, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Bill Williams, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Tom Faulkner, of McAlester, Oklahoma; all music buddies he every played with.  
And his dog, Benny.

James was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn Clark, and son, David Clark.

In Memory Of Paul E. Coshatt

Paul E. Coshatt, age 80, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his residence.

Paul was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on January 18, 1938, a son of the late Drucilla Reckley  and John  Coshatt.

Paul worked in the oil field.  He served in the U.S. Marines.

He was the widower of Carlotta Marie (Ward) Coshatt. On October 31, 1959, they were married at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.  Carlotta passed away November 14, 2007.

Paul is  survived by:
Daughter:   Sharron Wells, of Fairfax, Oklahoma.
Son/Daughter-In-Law:  Paul &  Sheila Coshatt, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Paul is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, James Edward Coshatt; 2 brothers; wife, Carlotta.

Glen Ray Kendrick

In Memory Of Glen Ray Kendrick

Glen Ray Kendrick, age 77, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his residence.

Glen was born in High Hill, Oklahoma on August 12, 1941, a son of the late Vida (Scott) and Dean Smith Kendrick.

Glen worked as an auto mechanic.

He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma .

He was the husband of Glenda (Tubbs) Kendrick. On January 26, 1959, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Glen spent his life sharing his love of God through singing and playing his guitar at churches, nursing homes, veteran centers, and the Senior Citizen Center.  He enjoyed going coon hunting and taking his grandkids fishing.  Glen's faith and family were the two most important things to him and he made sure he was at every ball game, concert, and any other event his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids were involved in.  He loved any family get-together whether it was a hot dog cookout of Christmas dinner.  Glen passes his love of playing the guitar and singing to his family.  He loved restoring old cars and building race cars.  Glen was well known for gardening and his award-winning watermelons and cantaloupes that he gave to anyone that came over.  Glen touched the heart of any one he met and has made a lasting impact on all those that knew him.

Glen is  survived by:
Wife: Glenda Kendrick, of the home.
Daughters:   Mary Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Gwen Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Sons/Daughters-In-Law: Allen & Diana Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Tommy & Mary Kendrick, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Glen is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, 11 brothers & sisters, 1 granddaughter.

Service at Wilburton High School Auditorium, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018  with Rev. Bain Durant and Rev. Richard Matthews officiating.  Interment to follow at Lutie Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Thomas Boyd Mills

In Memory Of Thomas Boyd Mills

Thomas Boyd Mills died August 11, 2018, in Wilburton, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 4 days.  The eldest child of Howard & Stella (Cameron) Mills, Boyd was born in Lequire, Oklahoma on February 7, 1931.  He attended the rural school of Highbridge for his elementary years and attended Wilburton High School.  Boyd married Clarice June Dobbs on July 20, 1952 in  Wilburton, Oklahoma.  They were married for 66 years.  Boyd was a hard-working man and during his life worked in a variety of jobs including working at garages and gas stations; driving trucks; hauling hay; hauling gravel and shale; and in construction jobs involving carpentry, wiring, plumbing, roofing, and laying bricks.  He also made extra money to support his family by collecting and selling scrap iron, copper, and other metals.

When he wasn't working, Boyd enjoyed fishing, collecting coins and stamps, treasure hunting and searching for Indian arrowheads.  He was also an exceptional domino, pitch and horseshoe player.  He loved country music and watching boxing on TV.  He also enjoyed his pets, Mr. Louie, his bird and Tom, his cat.

Boyd had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed clowning around with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He loved visits from people and talking with his brothers and sisters.

One thing most people will remember about Boyd is his storytelling.  He loved to tell anyone who would listen about things he had done in his life.  His stories were often told with some embellishment which we all accepted, especially when he told them with a sly grin on his face and a glint in his eye.

Boyd is survived by:
Family members include his wife, June Mills; children, Dean Mills and wife, Jeri; Darrel Mills; Donna Mills Jean and husband, Mark; Duane Mills and wife, Pam.
He is also survived by Grandchildren: Melinda Mills Solis and husband, Lee; Ross Mills and wife, Autumn; Tara Mills, Jerrod Mills and wife, Kendall; and Carly Mills.  Great Grandchildren: Alex Solis, Emma Mills, Abby Mills, Jackson Mills and Eloise Graham.  
Brother, Hubert (Pete) Mills, sisters, Bernice Mills Norton and Edna (Eddie) Mills Dugger and husband, Gary; brother-in-law, Norman Davis; sister-in-law, Doreen Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Stella Mills; brothers Burl Eugene Mills, Don Howard Mills, and Raymond Mills.  Sisters, Katherine Mills Thomas and Sharon Mills Davis.  brothers-in-law, Leonard Norton and Alfred Thomas.

Service at The Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018  with Rev. Willard Francis officiating.  Interment to follow at the Centerpoint Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Lela May Hamby, age 91, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at her residence in Wilburton.

Lela was born in Red Fork, Oklahoma on January 26, 1927, a daughter of the late Nellie (Harrison) and Harry  Parker.

She worked in the food service department at EOSC, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Lela was a member of First Baptist Church,  and VFW Auxiliary, both of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

She was the widow of Versil  Hamby. In 1949, they were married at Big Flat, Arkansas.  Versil Hamby passed away in 1990.

Lela is  survived by:
Daughter:  Mary Hord, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Son/Daughter-In-Law:  Kevin & Tracy Hamby, of Foyil, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two daughters, Danette Hamby and Cynthia Hamby; and husband, Versil Hamby.

Syble J. Henry, age 79, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Sparks Regional Medical Center, Ft. Smith,  Arkansas.

Syble was born in LeFlore, Oklahoma on March 16, 1939, a daughter of the late Della (Pickle) and James Walter Sutton.

She worked in the accounting department at Kiamichi Electric, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Syble was a member of the United Free Will Baptist Church, of  Red Oak, Oklahoma.

She was the wife of Wilburn  Henry. On August 3, 1956, they were married at Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Syble is survived by:
Husband: Wilburn Henry, of the home.
Sister:   Laverne Blankenship, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Brother:  Carol Dean Sutton, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by Granddaughter: Skyla DeWitt, and her husband Jared, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Great Granddaughter: Paisley DeWitt, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Darrell was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 2, 1955, a son of Jimmie (Williams) Dill and the late Leonard Dill.

He worked as a auto mechanic.

Darrell attended Calvary Baptist Church of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

He was the husband of Mary  (Tubbs) Dill. On August 31, 1974, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Darrell is survived by:
Mother: Jimmie Dill, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Wife: Mary Dill, of the home.
Daughter/Son-In-Law:   Debbie & Fred Ivey, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
