James Robert Muse, age 87, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at his residence. 

 

James was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on November 24, 1931, a son of the late Euphia (Holly) and Fredrick  Muse.

 

James worked as a rancher.  He served in the U.S. Air Force. 

 

He was the husband of Martha (Connelly) Muse. On March 16, 2018, they were married at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. 

 

James is survived by:

Wife: Martha Muse, of the home. 

Daughters:  Bobbie Smith, of Boise, Idaho; Louetta Muse, of Frazier Park, California; Debbie Anderson, of Albany, Oregon.

Sisters:   Freda Feaster, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Evlyn Burch, of Sacramento, California. 

Brother:   William David Muse, of Bakersfield, California. 

He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren.

 

James was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marshall Muse; son, James Fredrick Muse.

Terrie Louise Durant, age 62, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Ft Smith,  Arkansas. 

 

Terrie was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on August 29, 1957, a daughter of Margaret (Phillips) Kindrick and the late Marion Nation.

 

She worked as a nurses aid.

 

She was the wife of Jim  Durant. In 1997, they were married at Ft Smith, Arkansas. 

 

Terrie is survived by:

Mother: Margaret Kindrick, of Gowen, Oklahoma.

Husband: Jim Durant, of the home. 

Daughter:  Jennifer Braman, and Bob Gantt, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma. 

Step Daughter:  Summer, wife of  Michael Campbell, of Poteau, Oklahoma. 

Step Son:  Jeffery Durant, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma.  

Sisters:  Sallie Tomlison, and Wayne Stark, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Sandra Kindrick, of Dow, Oklahoma; Judy, wife of  Stuart Winlock, of Grove, Oklahoma. 

Brother:  Billy Kindrick, of Gowen, Oklahoma. 

Terrie is also survived by 3 Grandchildren.

 

Terrie was preceded in death by her father, Marion Nation; step father, Wayne Kindrick; son, Jeremy Braman.

Sherry was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on April 16, 1957, a daughter of the late Edna Mae (Cunningham) and John George Morrison.


Sherry was a homemaker. She attended the Lutie Baptist Church, of Wilburton, Oklahoma .


Sherry is survived by:

Daughter: Andrea Watkins, and Jimmy Dedmon, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Sons: Nicholas Watkins, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; David Watkins, of Stigler, Oklahoma.

Former husband of 40 years: Charles Watkins, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

Frances O. Musgrave, age 89, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at McAlester, Oklahoma.

 

Frances was born in Newalla, Oklahoma on May 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Leva (Withrow) and Sanford  Cotney.

 

Frances retired as a secretary for the Oklahoma Tax Commission.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

 

She was the wife of Red  Musgrave. On October 8, 1949, they were married at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

 

Frances is survived by:

Husband: Red Musgrave, of the home.

Daughters/Sons-In-Law:  Terry & John Holt, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Teresa & Robert Ketcher, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Sheri & Fernando Rodriguez, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Luveta Marie Nickell, age 81, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Tidwell Living Center, Wilburton, Oklahoma.

 

Luveta was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on September 9, 1938, a daughter of the late Edna Marie (Terry) and Lester  Shores.

 

Luveta was a  homemaker.  She was the widow of David  Nickell. On October 19, 1957, they were married at El Rio, California. 

 

Luveta is  survived by:

Reuben Edward Deela, age 70, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at his residence.

 

Reuben was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on September 7, 1949, a son of the late Bonnie (Holcomb) and Murrell  Deela.

 

Reuben worked in the oil field.  He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam war. Reuben was a life member of the VFW of Wilburton, Oklahoma and the  DAV of McAlester, Oklahoma.

 

He was the husband of Cynthia  (Ferkins) Deela. On May 7, 1971, they were married at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

 

Reuben is survived by:

Wife: Cynthia Deela, of the home. 

Daughters:  Jamie Deela, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Courtney Ragland, of the home. 

Son:  Dewayne Deela and fiancé Melissa, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Joyce B. Blanchard Shavalier, 65, of Wilburton Oklahoma, formerly of Mayville NY, went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday (September 14, 2019) in her home.

Joyce was born in Westfield NY, on September 9, 1954. She attended Mayville Central School.

She worked as a CNA, in Heritage Green Nursing facility as well as home health. She enjoyed bowling, pool and baking for her family, she also had a love for music.

She is survived by her common law husband Darren Thompson; 10 children: Scott (Denise) Flagg of Yoakum TX, Amy (Mark)Haskell Of Green Cove Springs FL, Christine Shavalier of Mayville NY, Dale (Crystal) Shavalier of Aurora CO, Jeremy Shavalier of Mclouth KS, Patrick (Sarah) Ziolowski of West Palm Beach FL, Rachael Shavalier of Mayville NY, Brian (Kayla) LaMountain of Jamestown NY, Jolene (William) Quinones of Mayville NY, Jesse Thompson of Wilburton Okla. and a step son Darren Thompson of Jamestown NY; her sister Patricia (Bob) Perrine of Randolph NY. She has 29 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and nephew.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Leroy F. Blanchard and Elvera G. Johnson Blanchard, her twin sister Mary Blanchard, her sisters Linda Blanchard, Jean Blanchard and her son Richard Michael Flagg.

Irina was the wife of Stanley Fazekas. On November 21, 1994, they were married at McAlester, Oklahoma.

Irina is survived by:

Mother: Lidya Maskarina, of Kolomna, Russia.

Daughter: Nataliya Poloto, of San Antonio, Texas.

Cousin: Nina Smirnova, of Kolomna, Russia.

Irina is also survived by Grandson: Atticus Poloto, of San Antonio, Texas. Granddaughter: Elizabeth Poloto, of San Antonio, Texas. Grandson: Aleksander Garrison, of Lawton, Oklahoma.
