 Benjamin John Thomas, Jr., 83, of Wilburton, OK, passed away Friday, May 22nd, at Jack C. Montgomery VA Center, Muskogee,  County. 

Benjamin was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on August 29, 1931, a son of the late Lucille (Brandt) and Benjamin John Thomas, Sr.

He was self enployed store clerk.

He served in the U.S. Army. 

He was the husband of Shirley  (Walden) Thomas. On June 12, 1959, they were married at Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Benjamin is  survived by 
two daughters, Sharon, wife of  Trent Sharp, of Fayettville, Arkansas; 
Susan Vaughan, of Wilburton, Oklahoma. 
 

Benjamin is also survived by 

Preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn Givens.

He is also survived by Niece: Dr. Billye Kay Givens, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.  Grandchildren: Nathan Sharp of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Suzanne Vaughan, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.  Great Grandchild: Kingston Vaughan, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Services at The Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th,  with Dr. Trent Sharp and Dr. Billye Kay Givens officiating. 

Private Burial Wilburton City Cemetery, OK.
