Helen I. Smith, age 79, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Tidwell Living Center, of Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Helen was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on September 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Fern (Goodwin) and Casey  Jones.

Helen was a  homemaker.  She was a member of Highbridge Baptist Church, of  Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Helen was the wife of Sid  Smith. On August 2, 1982, they were married at Poteau, Oklahoma. 

Helen is  survived by:
Husband: Sid Smith, of the home. 
Daughter/Son-In-Law:  Cindee & Terry Blankenship, of Wilburton, Oklahoma. 
Son/Daughter-In-Law: John & Kelley Collums, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas.
Sister/Brother-In-Law:   Diana &  John Mettauer, of Yukon, Oklahoma. 
Brother:  Tim Killion, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Grandchildren:  Sarah Collums, Jennifer Parks, Rachel Conley, Benton Conley, Jenny Bond, Shelby Mayo, Alana Smith, Michelle Collums, Cory Anderson, Lauren Smith, Amy Smith, Hunter Smith.  
She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Beverly Cichon, Sandy Collums; 3 brothers; 2 sisters.

Service at Highbridge Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016  with Rev. Todd Minshall and Rev. Randy Waldrop officiating.  Interment to follow at Highbridge Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma. 

Pallbearers:  Tyler Conley, Joshua Stevens, Brent Wilson, Jessie James, Ronald Phelps, Warner Bedford.
