In Memory of Nellie M. Curran

Nellie M. Curran, age 78, of Red Oak, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her residence.

Nellie was born in Kingsville, Texas on October 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Margarita (Mendietta) and Jose Colin.

Nellie was a wonderful homemaker.

She was a member and faithfully attended the First Baptist Church, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Nellie was the wife of Charles Curran. On November 4, 1971, they were married at Kingsville, Texas.

Nellie is survived by:

Husband: Charles Curran, of the home.

Daughter/Son-In-Law: Deborah & Fernando Acosta, of Victoria, Texas.

Sons/Daughters-In-Law: Ernie & Ester Colin, of Driscoll, Texas; Ronnie Colin, of Kingsville, Texas; Joe & Angela Curran, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Sister: Nina Buitron, of Houston, Texas.

Nellie is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Service at First Baptist Church, Red Oak, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 with Rev. Johnny Montgomery officiating. Interment to follow at the Red Oak Cemetery, of Red Oak, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers: The Breakfast Crew of Red Oak First Baptist Church, Johnny Montgomery, Howard Blankenship, Gordon Bell, Jeff Black, Mike Bryan, Shane Mabry.
