Glen Oliver Hunnicutt

Our Dad, Glen Oliver Hunnicutt went home to be with our precious Mother on September 19, 2020 at the age of 91. He was surrounded by those he loved most; his children.

Glen was born February 2, 1929 to Samuel and Annie Hunnicutt in Maud, OK. As a small child he moved to Wilburton, OK and attended Goat Hill school in Wilburton. He married his one true love, Bonnie Lee on February 23, 1949. Together they had seven children. Glen worked in construction for 14 years and built his family’s home in Spencer, OK.  In 1974, he purchased the Hilltop Station in Choctaw where he worked until retirement.

He was a kind and gentle man who found pleasure in every aspect of life including old Westerns, cowboy hats, boots, fried catfish, traveling, yard sales, and his family. He had a keen sense of humor and a smile for everyone he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Lee Hunnicutt and his sons David Lee Hunnicutt and Baby Hunnicutt, his parents, five brothers and one sister.
