RB was born on July 19, 1964 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma to Alfred and Gertrude (Reddin) Smith. He was the third of what was to become seven children.
RB loved to coon hunt, fish, and ride horses but what RB loved most was his momma, daddy, children and becoming a Papa to 16 grandkids.
RB worked most of his life in the oilfield. He started at the young age of seventeen, when he dropped out of school to provide for his family. He often worked hitches with many of his family members including his dad, brothers, cousins, and his favorite childhood heroes.
It was in his teenage years that RB trusted Christ as his Savior. He then was baptized later in his adult life at Leflore Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Gertrude Smith of Cement, Oklahoma; daughters: Tajah Smith of Red Oak, Charmyn Smith of Talihina, and Courtney Smith of Talihina; brothers: Alfred Smith Jr. of Antlers, Daniel Smith of Cement, and Albert Smith and wife Joyce of Leflore; sisters: Bessie Ott and husband Steve of Krebs, Tammy Chaney and husband Richard of Cement, and Rita Looney and husband Randy of Red Oak; and 16 grandchildren.
RB is preceded in death by his son, Jon David Smith; paternal grandparents, HB and Bessie Smith; and maternal grandparents, Gertrude and Raymond Reddin.
