Luveta Marie Nickell, age 81, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Tidwell Living Center, Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Luveta was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on September 9, 1938, a daughter of the late Edna Marie (Terry) and Lester Shores.
Luveta was a homemaker. She was the widow of David Nickell. On October 19, 1957, they were married at El Rio, California.

Sisters/Brothers-In-Law: Kathleen & Kenneth Schiwart, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Shirleen & Wayne Roark, of Meridian, Idaho; Judy Shores, of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Brothers/Sisters-In-Law: Arnold & Myrtle Shores, of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Marvin & Pat Shores, of Shasta, California.

Luveta was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers.
Service at Calvary Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 with Rev. Willard Francis and Rev. Randy Waldrop officiating. Burial to follow at the Nickells Memorial Cemetery, 3 p.m. in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
