In Memory of Colton Lee Wilson

Colton Lee Wilson, also known as Kayla Wilson, passed away at his home in Wilburton on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 30. Colton was born on March 22, 1991 in McAlester Oklahoma to William and Retha (Cole) Wilson.

Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Waldrop Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Lutie Cemetery in Wilburton, Oklahoma with Rev. Randy Waldrop officiating.

Pallbearers will be Sam Wilson, Joe Wilson, Christian Reeves, Derek Rogers, and Larry Wayne Houston.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aubrey Wilson, Addi Wilson, Kaden Wilson, Emma Wilson, and Callie Wilson.

Colton is survived by his parents: Bill and Retha Wilson of Wilburton; spouse, Christy Houston of the home; brothers: Joe Wilson and wife Jorden of Muskogee and Sam Wilson and wife Marissa of Wilburton; nephews and nieces: Kaden Wilson, Emma Wilson, and Callie Wilson of Muskogee and Aubrey and Addie Wilson of Wilburton; aunts and uncles: Clem and Karla Peppers of Alderson, Stacey and Tonya Cole of Yanish, Steve and Ramona Suter of Hartshorne, Curtis and Donna Wilson of Wilburton, Jessie Wilson of Wilburton, Charlottle Campbell of Blanchard, Brenda Wilson of Blanchard, and Mark Wilson of Blanchard; cousin: Cora Calwonsen of Carmen; and his fur babies: Waylon Jennings and Winnie Poo.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Dale and Virginia Cole; Paternal grandparents: Joe and Alta Wilson; brother, David Wilson; aunts and uncles: Carl Cole, Brenda Cole, Brad and Shelly Cole, Kathy Bennight, Jimmy Wilson, Ricky Wilson, and Tilly Wilson.

Services are under the direction of Waldrop Funeral Home.
