In Memory of Randy Looney

Randy Thomas Looney, 64 of Red Oak, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Randy was born March 2, 1957 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Thomas and Betty (Alexander) Looney. He married Rita (Smith) Alexander on August 1, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He served in the United States Navy and worked for Dow Chemical Company for 29 years.

Randy is survived by his wife: Rita Looney of the home; sons: Cody Looney of Prairieville, Louisiana and Mikey Bambeck and wife, Desire of Wilburton; daughters: Ashley Blanden and husband, Stewart of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Samantha Chavarria and husband, Eduardo of McAlester; grandchildren: Laurynn, Elisabeth, Matteo, Alexis, Natalie, Madison, Ryan, Samule, Sarah, Baxter, and Lulu; brother: Richard Looney and wife, Nancy of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister: Regina Cox of Austin, Texas; father and mother-in-law: Alfred and Gertrude Smith of Cement, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law: Alfred Smith Jr. of Cement, Daniel Smith of Cement, and Albert Smith and wife, Joyce of Leflore; sisters-in-law: Bessie Ott and husband, Steve of Krebs and Tammy Chaney and husband, Richard of Cement; and more nieces and nephews than he could keep track of with great love.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Betty Looney, grandparents, and Melinda Looney.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Baldwin Cemetery in Red Oak, Oklahoma with Rev. CD Suitor officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cody Looney, Mikey Bambeck, Richard Looney, Scott Looney, Daniel Smith, and Alfred Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benjamin Ott, Lonny Swartz, and Taylor Sloan.

Services have been entrusted to Waldrop Funeral Home of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
